Airdrie RCMP is asking for your help in gathering information about a discharge of a firearm in Rocky View County. 

 On January 3rd, 2019 around 2:30 in the morning homeowners of a rural property close to Calterra Estates and Range Road 13 were awakened to a loud bang. 

The homeowners initially thought the sound was the wind and didn't bother investigating the noise. 

In the morning the residents discovered a window had been smashed and RCMP later located a bullet. 

The RCMP do not believe the homeowners were targeted and feel that this was most likely a random incident.
