Some local cowboys are getting it done after big performances last weekend and yesterday (August 7th) in the world of Rodeo. 

Airdrie’s Jake Vold finished third overall in Bareback riding with a score of 87.75. Orin Larsen from Inglis, Manitoba won the Bareback title with a score of 89.5.

Cochrane’s Tanner Milan struck gold in Strathmore winning the Steer Wrestling event with a time of 3.8 seconds in the final run.

Meanwhile Didsbury athlete Kyle Brown is the current leader in Bull Riding at the Field of Dreams Stampede in La Crete.

Brown scored an 84 in his first performance and hopes to top that in the final run tonight.
