The W.H. Croxford Cavaliers put together a strong defensive showing on Saturday to pick up their first win of the season in the Rocky View High School Football League.  

The Cavs played host to Cochrane's Bow Valley Bobcats, blanking them by a score of 17 - 0.

The win gives Croxford a 1 - 2 record this season.  The Bobcats are winless in three games.

Both teams are at home for their next games Saturday afternoon.  The Cavaliers host the Springbank Phoenix who are ranked eighth among Tier Three teams in the province.  That game goes at the Ed Eggerer Athletic Park starting at 3:00 pm.

The Bobcats take to the Spray Lakes Legacy Field in Cochrane to take on the Chestermere Lakers for a 1:00 pm game.
