It wasn't the start that the Foothills AAA Bisons were hoping were.

Yesterday (March 19th) the team roared into their home arena hoping for a victory but instead it was Leduc with the last laugh.

Airdrie's Brandon Machado scored the only goal for the Bisons as they dropped Game 1 of their Championship Series 3-1.

Both teams will travel to Leduc for Game 2 on Wednesday night (March 22nd) at 7:30.
