After two games at the Alberta Provincial Midget "B" Tournament in Springbank, the Airdrie MIdget Lightning are still undefeated.  

In their first game of the ten team tournament on Thursday, Airdrie crushed Edmonton by a score of 9 - 1.

Yesterday they were in for a much stiffer test when they faced the host team from Springbank.  The Lightning scored a goal with 1:20 to play in the third period which stood up as the winner in a 7 - 6 victory.

Airdrie is tied for top spot in Pool A with Elk Point, the team they'll face in their next game, this morning at 9:30 am.  They'll wrap up the round robin portion of the tournament with a game against the La Crete Lumberjacks tonight starting at 7:15 pm.  

The tourney wraps up tomorrow with the semi-finals in the morning and the championship at 3:00 pm.
