The Airdrie Xtreme are on their way to the South Region Final of the AMBHL after sweeping their series with the Lethbridge Golden Hawks yesterday (February 27th).

On the same night that the NHL's Eric Staal had a multi-point game, The Xtreme's Craig Armstrong had a career game of his own.

Armstrong scored all four of Airdrie's goals in their 4-2 win over Lethbridge, officially sweeping the series in two straight games.

The Xtreme forward now has 5 goals in the playoffs, putting him in second in the scoring race.

Airdrie now awaits the winner of the Challenger South final between the Calgary Royals and the Calgary Bisons. The series is tied at one game apiece with the third and final game going tonight.
