The Airdrie Xtreme turned in a solid performance last night (December 19) in their final Alberta Major Bantam Hockey League game before the holidays.

The Xtreme battled the Bisons to a 3 - 3 tie in Calgary.

Noah Edstrom scored the tying goal in the third period after Owen Desilets and Jayden Gallant had scored previously for Airdrie.

The Bisons have a better record than the Xtreme in the AMBHL and are tied for first in the Challenger South Division with a 14 - 4 and 3 record.  The tie for Airdrie gives them a 7 - 12 and 1 record heading into the Christmas break, good for fourth place in the Ram South Division.

The next league action for the Xtreme will be on Saturday, January 5th when they host the Okotoks Oilers. \
