It's almost that time of year again where the ghouls, superheroes and scary costumes come out of the closet.

Children everywhere are always looking forward to Halloween to stock up their bags full of candy and get that intense sugar rush once again.

As a parent, it may be a little nerve-racking letting your children go out with their friends without adult supervision.

Some parents are more relaxed than others letting their children start trick or treating with their friends without adult supervision around the age of eleven or twelve.

When I was a child my first-year trick or treating without adult supervision was at age 12. We did not get into any trouble and had to be home by a specific time.

At what age do you let your child go trick or treating without adult supervision?
