Tens of thousands of Airdrie residents lined the streets for the annual Canada Day Parade, organized by Airdrie Parades, despite the rainy and cloudy weather.

In case you missed it, you can now watch it below!

Numerous vibrant floats, music, and even Alberta Premier Danielle Smith as a special guest were present.

In advance of one of the most cherished local celebrations of the year, throngs of people had gathered along the parade route; some had even started setting out lawn chairs and towels early in the morning.

The parade floats were enthusiastically hailed by all Airdronians as they passed through Airdrie's downtown. A few locals were also marking the country's 157th birthday by dressing in festive red and white.
