For the third year in a row, Team Alberta are Western Canada U-16 Challenge Cup champions.

After defeating Saskatchewan, and dominating Manitoba, the boys set their sights on gold when they face off with British Columbia.

The game saw both team's exchange goals, bring on overtime with a 2-2 tie. Carter Chorney of Team Alberta would get the game winner just 31-seconds into sudden death.

Cochranite Connor Bouchard made the list for Team Alberta, playing out of the Okanagan Hockey Academy Midget Prep White.
