It happened just after midnight at 12:10 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 28.

Taber RCMP, CP Police, and Volker Stevin Highway control services are on scene.

11 railcars derailed in various locations along Hwy 3 between Hwy 36 to Range Road 163 and Range Road 162.

There have been no reports of injuries, nor any reports of dangerous goods or hazardous materials were spilled in the derailment.
