Highline Mushrooms, north of Airdrie saw two fires happen this year, one in January and one in July.

It was estimated that the January fire that took place in the 300,000-square-foot facility will suffer million-dollar losses from both structural damage and the contents that were damaged.

This fire saw seven different stations show up, including Rocky View, Airdrie, Carstairs, Crossfield, Balzac, Irricana and Madden.

The fire in July was much smaller than the first one and was quickly contained. The fire was located in the air handling unit upstairs on the roof.

Four different fire departments responded to this fire including Balzac, Irricana, Crossfield, and Airdrie.

Unfortunately, the Rocky View Fire Department did not provide an answer as to what the investigation found when it came to the first fire.
