The Airdrie Thunder might have been too busy this weekend to have time to sit down and enjoy a turkey dinner but the definitely have something to give thanks about, a pair of weekend wins.
After a home ice win over the High River Flyers on Friday night, the Thunder went on the road Sunday afternoon for a game in Stettler against the Lightning.
Clay Murray had a huge night for Airdrie, scoring four goals to lead the Thunder to a 6 - 2 win over the home team.
Rylan Plante-Crough picked up four assists in the game. Ryan Knapp and Austin O'Bray added the other Thunder goals.
The Thunder hold down first place in the HJHL Northern Division with a record of five wins and one loss for 10 points.
