The Airdrie Thunder travel to Didsbury tonight (October 3) for a game with the Mountainview Colts and they'll have two recent Heritage Junior Hockey League Players of the Week in their lineup.
Rylan Plante-Crough was named the Player of the Week for the week which ended on September 30th after his linemate, Jordan McConnell received the same honour the previous week.
20-year-old Plante-Crough registered seven points in a pair of Thunder wins which kept them undefeated this season with a record of 4 and 0.
Against the Blackfalds Wranglers, Plante-Crough had a goal and an assist and scored a hat-trick and picked up one assist as Airdrie dropped High River 7 - 1.
Plante-Crough and McConnell have a remarkable 19 points each in the four Airdrie wins.
The Colts, who'll host the Thunder tonight, haven't been doing too badly themselves thus far this season. The Colts are 3 and 1 on the year and trail the Thunder by two points in the Northern Division.
Tonight's game gets underway at 8:00 pm in the Didsbury Rec Plex.
