Alberta Parks is looking for talented, passionate people to become ambassadors for the provincial parks across Alberta. But what exactly does a parks Ambassador do?

Well, according to Alberta Parks, if you want some of the job's perks including free individual campsite reservations as well as getting those gorgeous photos featured on Alberta Parks' social media channels. 

So, what does the ideal candidate for the job look like? If you're a lover of the outdoors and love to camp, hike, bike, canoe, and picnic, and you share those experiences and those viral photos on social media and/or through blogs - you might just be the right fit. But it's not just about being a nature lover. It's also about knowing the difference between Alberta Parks and Parks Canada.

"Alberta Parks has 450+ provincial parks and protected areas. Banff, Lake Louise, Jasper, Elk Island, Wood Buffalo and Waterton Lakes are part of Parks Canada’s national system and are not Alberta Parks.

For all those interested there are applications available and the deadline is drawing near; Monday, February 6. New Ambassadors will be notified by Monday, February 13.
