It was a weekend the Airdrie Thunder would love to forget.

The Junior B Hockey Club played back to back games, both resulting in big losses.

On December 9th, the boys carried a 2-0 lead halfway through the first period, only to see it squander by Evan Ingram's five goals in a 6-3 loss to Mountainview.

Hoping for redemption the next day the team traveled to Red Deer and fell hard in a penalty filled 6-1 defeat.

With the losses, the Thunder fall back to second place in the HJHL North Division with 38 points, just three ahead of Red Deer in third place.

The Thunder have just three games remaining in 2016 and will hit the Ron Ebbesen Arena on December 16th against the Ponoka Stampeders.
