The Team Alberta Men's Hockey club has a date with Ontario tonight (February 21) in the semi-finals at the Canada Winter Games taking place in Red Deer.
Last night Alberta took on New Brunswick in one of the quarter-final matches and cruised to any easy 8 - 3 win. Craig Armstrong, one of the two former Airdrie Xtreme members scored his third goal of the games for Alberta. Keagan Slaney is also a part of the Alberta lineup.
Tonight at 7:30 in the Centrium Arena, Team Alberta will meet Team Ontario who doubled Manitoba 6 - 3 in their quarter-final. The winner of that game will face the winner of Quebec and Saskatchewan in tomorrow's gold medal final.
