Many locals from Rocky View County will be representing their home towns this weekend at Coronation's rodeo.

Locals include two Airdronians, five Cochranites, three competitors from Olds, three from Didsbury, one from Crossfield and one from Carstairs.

Steer Wrestling competitors will find themselves up against Milan brothers, Tanner, Straws and Bailie, as they take the event by storm.

From the Ladies Barrel Racing, Shields' sisters, Taylor and Rylee, will be going head to head.

Eric Isabelle from Crossfield will be trying his luck against the bulls this weekend, alongside Didsbury resident Kyle Brown.

Two Tyler's from Olds, Tyler Johnson and Tyler Leischner, will be competing against one another in the Tie-Down Roping event.

Those from Airdrie participating in the event include locals Spur Lacasse, in the Bareback division, and Scot Meeks, in the Tie-Down Roping.

The Coronation rodeo started on Friday, July 8, and will finish up on Saturday, July 9.
