The Airdrie Thunder couldn't stop the puck from going into their own net Friday, October 28 at the Ron Ebbeson Arena, as they faced the Strathmore Wheatland Kings.

Despite outshooting Strathmore by a wide margin, the Kings got the most out of their shots and embarassed the Thunder 8 to 3 in their own building.

The Thunder head to Three Hills October 29 to take on the Thrashers. That game is an important test for the team, as Three Hills currently lead Airdrie by one point in the Heritage Junior B Hockey League's Northern Division, while the Thunder have a game in hand. The game in Three Hills starts at 8 pm.
