An Airdrie hockey player has already made his presence felt with his new team, the Moose Jaw Warriors.

Former Bisons star Barrett Sheen scored his first goal in his first game with the Moose Jaw Warriors last night (November 14), in their 7-4 win over the Swift Current Broncos.

Sheen was traded to Moose Jaw last Monday after spending most of his time in the WHL with the Kootenay Ice, where he registered 25 points in 63 games.

The Airdrie product will have a chance to add more points for the Warriors when they head to Saskatoon tonight (November 15) to take on the Blades. Puck drop is set for just after 6:00pm.
