Update: Semi lost its load Northbound on QEII

The scene has been cleared. 

A semi that lost its load earlier on Monday morning had caused significant delays Northbound on the QEII just before the Yankee Valley Boulevard exit into Airdrie. Motorists were asked to avoid the right-hand shoulder lane as pylons had been set up by emergency crews.

Airdrie fire crews were on the scene, though there were no ambulances or RCMP that were observed on the scene.
