Students being bused to Muriel Clayton Tuesday morning were delayed due to a small accident.

The bus driver of the Bayside route had students who were misbehaving in the back of the bus and chose to speak to them directly.

While stopped at one of the bus stops, witnesses say the bus driver put the bus in park and walked to the back of the bus.

Due to the parking brake not being fully engaged, the bus proceeded to roll forward and hit a parked car.

Angela Spanier, RVS Director of Communications said that no injuries occurred and that all the students were safe.

This was the first incident for the RVS bus driver with no other infractions on the driver's file.

The children were picked up by a rescue bus shortly after the incident and were transported to Muriel Clayton to continue with the school day.
