The Rocky View Knights are 2-1 following Wednesday's action at the 2015 President's Cup and could have a shot to win it all.

Airdrie's Senior B Lacrosse team were this year's Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League Champions - giving them the chance to represent Alberta at the National Tournament in St. Catherines, Ontario.

After three round-robin matches the Knights hold a 2-1 record and have a quarterfinal matchup on Thursday on their quest for a National Championship.

The Knights had a rude awakening to the tournament on Monday after a 14-4 loss to the Six Nations Rivermen, but have since rebounded with back to back 9-8 overtime victories against the Nanaimo Timbermen and the Snake Island Muskies.

Casey MacIntyre leads the Knights with 11 points (4G, 7A) while the Calgary Roughnecks' Tor Reinholdt has 10 points (5G, 5A) through three games.

The Knights now await their quarterfinal opponent and win their next three games if they hope to hoist the President's Cup Saturday evening.
