A chance to showcase their sport and possibly introduce it to people new to the game of lacrosse are some of the goals of the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League's Major League Showcase weekend in Airdrie.

The three Junior teams, the Ladies Silvertips, the Tier One Junior "B" Rockyview Silvertips and the Tier Two Junior "B" Rockyview Rage along with the three Senior clubs, the Ladies Attack, the Airdrie Senior "C" Mohawks and the Senior "B" Rockyview Knights will be playing a total of seven games this weekend in the Plainsman Arena and promoting lacrosse in Rocky View.

The action begins tonight (May 11) when the Tier One Silvertips entertain the Calgary Chill at 8:00 pm.  The 'Tips are leading the Central Division with a three and two record for six points, two more than the Chill who've played two fewer games.

Also tonight in Cochrane, the Tier Two Rage host the Calgary Wranglers.  The expansion Rage only have one win so far in six games this season.  The Wranglers have a four and three record.

The game gets underway at 8:00 pm in the Spray Lakes Totem One Arena.
