The season is over for the Rockyview Silvertips after bowing out in two straight games in their opening round playoff series.

The Tier Two Junior "B" club lost 13 - 7 to the Calgary Chill in a game played in Cochrane last night.  Along with the Chill's 9 - 5 victory the previous night it has them moving on in the playoffs and the Silvertips reflecting on a good season in the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League (RMLL).

The Airdrie Mohawks picked up in the playoffs right where they left off during the regular season.  Winning.

The 'Hawks faced the Okotoks Erratic last night in the first game of the Senior "C" South Playoffs and won by a 17 - 11 count.  Game two in the series is set for 4:30 pm this afternoon at the Max Bell #2 Arena in Calgary.  Should a third game be needed it will go right after game two.

Tonight the Rockyview Senior "B" Knights start playoff action when they take on the Calgary Mountaineers in game one of a best of five.

That contest is set to get underway at 7:30 pm in the Max Bell #2.
