A fire in a recycling truck that caused the closure of Range Road 12 between Limit Avenue and Laut Avenue near Crossfield has since been extinguished. 

Earlier this afternoon, The Town of Crossfield issued a notice stating that Range Road 12 between Limit Avenue and Laut Ave was shut down due to the fire.

The public was previously asked to avoid the area.
