It was a good first day for the Nose Creek Swim Association, as they look to win big in the Age Group and Senior Championships.

Alexandra Butler won a bronze in the 100 backstroke while her brother, Addison won a silver.

In the 50 breaststroke, Michael Schaan won his first silver hardware at the meet. His time of 33.58 is 0.03 sec shy of the club record of 33.55. However, Alexandra Butler improved her own club record in the 100 backstroke earlier in the evening.

Zac McLeod was credited for swimming to a new AG National time in the 100 backstroke in the A-final.

The NCSA swimmers were also privileged to watch Olympic caliber swimming in the 50 breaststroke when Rachel Nichol of Team Canada went head to head with Fiona Doyle of Team Ireland.

Shortly after, NCSA alumni Jason Block, chased down the Canadian Record in the same event.

Competition carries on till Sunday, July 3rd, with lots of exciting swims in the coming days.

NCSA Coach Alexx Deip hopes his swimmers can do it all again in day two.
