It won't be long now until High School Football begins in Airdrie.

All three public High Schools have started practices including George McDougall.

"We've been building every practice, slowly getting better and better," says Linebacker Geoffrey Zanzerl.

The Mustangs are excited for the new year as they hope to show the city that they're more than just a High School team.

"I think being a second year for the Mustangs and having a lot of players that have played before, especially in Raiders. It's an opportunity to really show our talent on the field not just as athletes but as people as well, show our leadership." says Running back Josh "Hollywood" Seaman.

The Mustangs, Chargers and Cavaliers will take part in the RVS Jamboree on August 31st. The Mustangs will travel to Drumheller on September 9th, before their first home game on September 15th.
