The scene has now been cleared. However, due to snowfall throughout the day in the Calgary and Airdrie area, there continues to be reduced visibility. Snowplows are active in the area and motorists are reminded to drive with caution and give the plows roomto work.

On Monday afternoon, Calgary police advised motorists that Southbound Stoney Trail was closed between 96 Avenue N.E. and McKnight Boulevard due to multi-car collisions.
