Investigations have determined that the victims' vehicles were entered unlawfully and their garage door openers and vehicle registration information were taken. Later, these victims are targeted for residential break and enters.

"For some incidents, the vehicles were targeted while the victims were camping, and when they returned home, they noticed that their residence had been unlawfully entered."

While RCMP continue their investigations, we are releasing surveillance photos of three suspects and a suspect vehicle linked to these crimes. In order to protect themselves, RCMP is asking the public to secure their vehicle, even when camping or in remote locations, consider not keeping garage door openers and documents with their home address in their vehicle and also ensure all thefts from vehicles are reported to the police.

According to Airdrie's crime map, in the past two weeks, there have been an estimated three break-and-enters, five thefts from motor vehicles, as well as 21 thefts over or under $5,000. There were also an estimated 22 mischief to public property reports.

RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the vehicle and suspects. Anyone with information on the identity of the suspect is asked to call Strathmore RCMP at 403-934-3968, or your local police.
