Airdrie Mounties have released a few details on a large RCMP and Calgary Police Service presence in the shopping district near Balzac this afternoon at approximately 3:30.
According to Airdrie RCMP, the police presence was a result of Airdrie Rural RCMP supporting CPS with an arrest.
"The arrest has been completed and there is no risk to the public. As this was a CPS investigation, RCMP does not have any further information," a brief release stated.
