The Brandon Thomas truck has been recovered at a Gas Plus in Balzac.

Kim Thomas is thrilled about the speedy recovery.

"I cannot thank all of you enough for sharing, caring, helping, sending love and your strong support!" writes Kim. "The only reason it was found was because of you!"

She says two suspects were caught and arrested and there is some damage.

"Thank you all. Brandon is smiling in Heaven saying thank you for bringing my truck home! Love you all." she wrote.

Discover Airdrie called Airdrie RCMP to confirm the recovery and arrests, but RCMP were unable to confirm.

 

Kim Thomas is absolutely devastated by the theft of her son Brandon's memorial truck and has made a plea for any information that would lead to a speedy recovery.

Thomas was shocked to discover the distinctive truck was stolen from her driveway overnight. She has been spreading the word throughout the community and to Calgary area auto clubs. Well over 300 people have already shared the information on Facebook.

The Brandon Thomas Toyota 4x4 4Runner truck is predominantly black with blue fenders and highlights. It is custom painted and adorned by over hundreds of signatures from people paying tribute to the young man.

Just the day before, the truck was featured at the highly successful mini-meet hosted by Ramada Cochrane. It remains a centrepiece in all events of the Show Your Ride for Brandon Thomas Foundation. Over the years, the foundation has raised over $60,000 for many causes and also spreads the important message, "Don't Drink and Drive."

This truck means the world to Kim and to the Calgary area auto community.

Brandon's life was taken by an impaired driver on Dec. 6, 2012.
