The Airdrie Mohawks have won the Senior C Title in the RMLL for the second year in a row.

The team swept the Lethbridge Pioneers in two games last weekend and player Gareth Barely said it was quite the feat.

"We're more proud of being undefeated for two seasons now...we still have the league final left to play here."

The Mohawks will take on the North Division winners from Vermillion and Barely said they'll have their work cut out for them.

"We match up well. We know we're going to have to be more prepared to play them and seeing them once this year we know we can't take them too lightly and we know what they can do but we also know what we can do and we play to our level."

The League final series gets underway on July 29th.
