Didsbury Mounties have arrested a 35-year-old Manitoba resident after a spate of break-ins in several towns, including High River and Okotoks areas.

The arrest followed an investigation after the man broke into the Tim Horton's in Carstairs last month on December 17. The other break-ins into businesses occurred at approximately the same time. The man was also wanted in British Columbia for similar offences. 

"The RCMP Southern Alberta District Crime Reduction Unit was asked to assist and during the investigation, it was determined that the suspect was also responsible for a series of similar break-and-enters to businesses in the High River and Okotoks areas around the same time."

Days later, on December 22, the RCMP Southern Alberta District Crime Reduction Unit located and arrested Corey Pashe, a resident of Portage La Prairie. A search warrant was also executed on a residence in Calgary.

Pashe has been charged with two counts of Break and enter and commit theft, two counts of Break and enter with intent to commit an indictable offence, Failure to comply with Undertaking, Possession of break-in tools, as well as Wearing a disguise with intent to commit an indictable offence.

After a Judicial Interim Release Hearing, Pashe was remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear in the Alberta Court of Justice on Wednesday, January, 10, in Canmore.
