A multi-vehicle collision that was slowing down traffic in Airdrie has now been cleared.
The left lane southbound 8th Street just north of the intersection with Railway Avenue was blocked off because of the collision.
Crews are no longer on the scene.
With the snow expected to continue falling for the evening please drive to the conditions of the road.
The QEII heading towards Calgary City limits has been reported to be slippery, with patches of black ice and icy wheel paths. There's drifting snow and strong wind has also been reported. North of Airdrie, highway conditions have been reported to be in similar condition.
