Two local players have signed contracts with their Western Hockey League Teams.
The Prince George Cougars have signed local 15-year-old forward Craig Armstrong to a standard player agreement.
Armstrong was drafted by the Cougars ninth overall in the first round of the 2018 WHL draft in May.
Armstrong was a member of the team central during the Alberta Cup and helped lead the Airdrie Xtreme to a provincial title and a silver medal at the Western Canadian Bantam Championships.
Former CFR Bison Caleb Willms also signed an agreement with the Medicine Hat Tigers.
Last season, Willms scored 3 goals and 7 assists in his first year with the Bisons.
