Beginning July 4 through to the end of July, kids will be able to try their hand at golf for free.

680 golf courses across Canada are participating in the program, including Woodside Golf Course who has been part of the program since it's inception in 1995.

"We have been involved since the beginning, we're one of the first members actually of the association back in the early 90's," said Chris McNicol, Director of Operations.

Kids under the age of 16, who are accompanied by a paying adult will receive one round of complimentary golf.

Another benefit to the Kids Golf Free program is the opportunity to win some great prizes.

"There's some prize draws that go along with the program, anyone that comes out to play gets a ballot."

The grand prize draw is for an all-inclusive hotel package to Cuba, with additional prizes including 8 Full sets of PHENOM junior clubs, as well as an exciting adult TaylorMade Golf package.
