The Airdrie Irish are hoping to put their opening game behind them when they travel to St. Albert tonight (June 3rd)

The local football team will take on the St. Albert Stars, one week after falling hard to Fort McMuirray 89-0.

Linebacker Anton Bellot had the third best tackling game of anyone in the Alberta Football League with 7.5 total tackles against Fort Mac.

The Stars had a successful opening weekend as they crushed the Calgary Wolfpack 56-0, led by Quarterback Troy Pappas, who threw for 178 yards and 4 touchdowns.
