Alberta Parks has announced changes to its online booking system for camping.

"We’re pleased to announce that as of February 12 Alberta Parks camping reservations will move to Shop.AlbertaParks.ca," Alberta Parks officials stated in a news release.

Officials also reminded campers that Reserve.AlbertaParks.ca will no longer be available as of February 19 and will not merge Reserve.AlbertaParks.ca accounts onto Shop.AlbertaParks.ca.

"You will have access to your existing Reserve.AlbertaParks.ca account until February 18 to take note of sites you have reserved in the past, as this data will not transfer over to the system."

As of last week, those wanting to crease an account on the Shop.AlbertaParks.ca can do so in order to get 'acquainted with the platform.'

"If you are NOT a Shop.AlbertaParks.ca user you can create an account now. Camping inventory will be available to browse on Shop.AlbertaParks.ca on February 12.

If you already have a Shop.AlbertaParks.ca account, there is no need to make a new account; but be sure to update your account with any information changes.
