One person was transported to the hospital in stable condition, following a serious two-vehicle collision east of Airdrie near Range Road 13 and Highway 566, earlier today.
This afternoon, Mounties said that Highway 566, near Range Road 13 has been re-opened. Earlier in the day, the highway was reduced to one lane for several hours as fire crews, EMS, and police were on the scene of the collision.
On Tuesday morning, at approximately 8:45 a.m., Airdrie Rural RCMP said that they were responding to a collision between a dump truck and a sedan.
No other details were provided on the cause of the collision.
