It’s official. Habitat for Humanity Calgary, in partnership with Airdrie Faith Build, is building in Bayside here in Airdrie. It's been 3 and a half years in the making, and Linda Ray with Habitat says it's an exciting time.

Genesis Builders Group has provided a duplex lot for the project within walking distance to a school and other amenities. The ground-breaking for Habitat For Humanity happens Thursday, Oct. 6 at 9 am at 2369 and 2371 Baywater Crescent SW.
