Minor injuries were reported after a multi-vehicle collision that Beiseker RCMP and other RCMP partners responded to earlier today. The scene has since been cleared.

According to police, three people were taken to various hospitals via ground ambulance.

"At this time, it is believed the collision occurred because of poor visibility due to fog, as well as icy roads," a police release stated.

No further updates are anticipated.

Earlier, on Wednesday, Beiseker RCMP, along with Three Hills and Drumheller RCMP, responded to a train vs. three-vehicle collision, on Highway 575, between Range Road 243 and 242. Fire and EMS were on the scene.
