It was some sloppy hockey Monday night (Feb 15)

The Family Day game was an unruly one that ended up with 10 power plays. After a 3-1 loss on Saturday night, the Calgary Flames were hoping to bounce back against the Vancouver Canucks.

Cochrane's own Dillion Dube took the first early penalty and that lead to the Canucks opening goal. In fact, the Flames took 4 penalties in the first period which ended with the Canucks with a 2-1 lead.

In the second the Flames seemed to dominate and were able to tie it up. Then Dube got his payback and got a goal to give Calgary their first lead.

In the third, a late hooking call to Vancouver seemed to signal the game was wrapped up with the flames up 3-2, but with 30 seconds left Vancouver tied it up and the game had to be decided in overtime.

The Flames started overtime still on the powerplay and a quick one-timer by Johnny Gaudreau wrapped that up pretty quickly.

The Canucks and Flames end their four-game series tomorrow (Feb 17) in Calgary.
