After a difficult loss against the Grand Peace Storm on Saturday (December 9), the Airdrie Bisons hoped to bounce back the next day against the Flames.

Unfortunately, the Flames offense proved too much for the Bisons as they fell 7-1 at the Father David Bauer Arena in Calgary.

Cayde Augustine scored the only goal for the Bisons, his sixth of the year, while Goalie Steve Bacovsky stayed in net, making 32 saves.

Following the weekend losses, the Bisons sit in eighth place in the Chrysler Division with 14 points.

The team will be busy this coming weekend as they play the Calgary Northstars on December 16th in Carstairs, followed by a date with the J. Ennis Kings at the Ron Ebbesen Arena on December 17th.
