For Dana Johnson and the students and instructors at Destiny Martial Arts, it has been a whirlwind of a journey to where they sit right now, as an elite Martial Arts group in Airdrie.

The Tae-Kwon Do centre has only been a part of Airdrie for a few years, but in that time has seen a growth, not even they expected.

Destiny currently runs four programs for students starting at age 4 all the way up to adulthood.

One program that separates Destiny from the rest of the pack is one geared towards special needs students.

Recently, Dana Johnson and Jennifer Russell with Destiny Martial Arts, came in studio to talk to us about one of the centre's biggest accomplishments, The Western Canadian Tae-Kwon Do Challenge in Okotoks.

Destiny Martial Arts holds their classes at Geneis Place in Airdrie and the Genesis Centre in Northeast Calgary.

Find more information on the Tae-Kwon Do school at their official website.
