Mixed results last night for the two Cochrane players still involved in the WHL playoffs.

The Kelowna Rockets with Dillon Dube and the Lethbridge Hurricanes with Tyler Wong both opened up their second round series last night.

Dube scored once and the Rockets downed the Portland Winterhawks 4 -2.

Wong was held pointless, and so were the rest of the Hurricanes as they were blanked 4 - 0 by the Medicine Hat Tigers.  Medicine Hat shut down the Hurricanes offence, only allowing them 16 shots on goal.

The series continue tonight in Kelowna and Medicine Hat.
