It was a tough weekend for the W.H. Croxford Cavaliers football team as they played their toughest opponent of the season.

The team faced off against the defending champion Cochrane Cobras who took advantage of the Cavaliers right from the beginning.

At the end of four quarters the Cavaliers watched as the Cobras walked away with a 48-0 victory.

The win pushes the Cobras record to 2-0 and will look for number three as they play Bow Valley in an all Cochrane battle tomorrow (September 26th)

Meanwhile the Cavaliers will regroup and look for vindication when they take on their city rivals the George McDougall Mustangs on Thursday (September 28th) at Ed Eggerer Athletic Park.
