The Airdrie Brewers wrapped up the regular season Wednesday, July 27th.

Sitting at 4th place in the league, the boys headed to Innisfail for a game with the Indians.

"They were hitting the ball well, we werent hitting th ball so well, and thats pretty much what it came down to, we lost." said Tim Kehoe, Brewers Coach.

Several players were unable to make the game, so coaches TIme Kehoe and Tracy Donst had to hop on the field and play the game.

Kehoe filled in at left field, and Donst took up residency at first base.

"It was interesting getting out there, I mean we've played in the past for sure, but it's been awhile since we actually got out." said Kehoe.

The Brewers ended up falling 13-1 against the first place Indians.

Focus now shifts to the playoffs, which will be a weekend tournament in Lacombe starting on August, 5th.
