The Airdrie Brewers are still winless after three games in the Parkland Baseball League this season.

The Brewers took on the Innisfail Trappers in their home opener last night (May 27) at Chinook Winds Park and dropped a 9 - 4 decision.

It was a tough loss, according to the Brewers Dan Gauthier, but it wasn't without it's merits.  He said the team was happy that they scored more runs than in their first two games combined.  The Brewers also showed offensive improvement by getting more runners on base.

The Brewers have a lengthy home stand in front of them and play their next game at Chinook Winds on Saturday, June 3rd when they'll meet the Red Deer Razorbacks.
