The Las Vegas Golden Knights may be chasing the Stanley Cup in their first season in the NHL, but for most first-year clubs the going is hard in any league.

Take for example the Airdrie Brewers, who are finding it very difficult to win in the Foothills Major Baseball Association in their first season of play in the Calgary league.

Yesterday (May 27), the Brewers lost two more games to make it seven straight without a win to begin the season.

Airdrie took on the Calgary Wolfpack in a twin-bill yesterday and dropped the games by scores of 11 - 8 and 24 - 12.

Next up for the Brewers is a Tuesday night (May 29) encounter with the Calgary White Sox.
